This, and my subsequent jobs and freelancing developed my team working and leadership skills, along with giving me excellent communication skills. This has enabled me to develop my time management and team working skills, as well as facilitating me in developing strong working relationships. I am looking to secure a challenging and rewarding role that will lead to develop my professional skills and forge a career in an industry I am passionate about.

2022 - 2023
Graphic and Web Designer
Teltronix Ltd.
My role as Graphic Designer at Teltronix relied heavily on knowledge of Adobe products, predominantly Photoshop, InDesign and Lightroom. My main responsibilities were designing and creating all marketing materials for Teltronix and its brands as well as keeping the Wordpress websites up to date. This job also required a lot of working to tight deadlines and has developed my ability to work under pressure and produce quality work in tight timeframes.

2019 - 2022
Junior Graphics / Modelmaker
RWDI
The main portion of my workload at RWDI was using AutoCAD to create scale drawings of dense cities then use these drawing to build physical models for Wind Tunnel Testing using large workshop machinery to create models within a 0.5mm tolerance. Models were built from epoxy foam with target models usually being 3D printed in ABS. I was also responsible for assembing target models (usually 1:300 scale) and instrumenting them with brass taps for Wind Tunnel Testing of wind pressures. Working at RWDI, communication and time management was at the forefront of my role. Communicating daily with customers, engineers, and project managers to fulfil the customer’s requirement and answer any questions they may have.

2013 - 2016
Civil, Structural and Architechural Design Engineer Apprentice Sellafield LTD.
Working at Sellafield Ltd my main responsibility was using AutoCAD and office programs. I also have experience working in a large team on multi million pound projects. Other responsibilities within my job were creating Risk Assessments and Outline Method statements for jobs. This was especially crucial within this company due to the high risks associated with working on a nuclear site.

2011 - 2019
Volunteering
In the past I have been heavily involved in promoting STEM activities across the local area, many of which I organised myself. This involved researching and creating fun and engaging activities for different age groups to interest them and inspire them to follow a STEM route. I also regularly volunteered at a local primary school, aiding art lessons, running age-appropriate STEM workshops and designing and building the stage and props for end of year productions.
